Financial IT expert and Auditor

As a Financial IT expert and Auditor, you will join Federal Express Corporation (FedEx Express) - the world's largest express transportation company. FedEx Express' global transportation network ensures fast, reliable delivery of documents, packages, and shipments around the world.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
  • Support the department with gathering, analyzing and digesting financial relevant information to the department and presenting this in a readable and actionable format to the management team.
  • Project assignments include but not limited to following up of the dtd expense and capital budget, guiding/delivering of savings programs, playing link into accounting, completing financial reporting, analyzing and providing ROI calcs for projects etc.
  • Involvement in projects that improve operational efficiency.
  • Be the financial controller of the departments – keep department of 300 to 650 IC’s financially on track
  • Help drive savings and project by providing excellent financial detail and follow-up
  • Develop financial process where required, train other staff if needed
  • Interface with financial accounting
  • If numbers are involved, you will be in the spotlight – not just accounting but more overall, you will be go-to for analytics and related assignments
  • Conduct audits and help close audit items
  • Follow up on averts, SOX, PCI
  • Train and mentor others when required
  • Optimize operational Field/Hub IT teams across multiple countries in Europe
  • Drive improved InfoSec posture in the Field/Hub IT space
  • Develop executive level presentations and coordinate reviews/meetings to ensure alignment between IT plans and Business needs
  • Drive Quality Driven Management through the organization by identifying metrics, performance standards and holding the team accountable to use tools and method necessary to facilitate executive-level decision making
  • Manage and optimize resources to meet SG&A targets and
  • Operational needs; manage vendors to increase value return of our spending
  • Support compliance with relevant laws and regulations/policies/InfoSec standards

Qualifications & Competencies (education, skills, experience):
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent: MBA/advanced degree and multilingual preferred
  • You are a leader with a proven track record in global collaboration, project/process/program management and improvement, QDM or Lean expertise
  • You are master in Excel and other reporting tools as Spotfire in-and-out
  • You have great analytical skills
  • Audit experience will be a strong benefit
  • Experience and awareness of Express and/or TNT financial operational processes are a benefit
  • You have excellent communication skills
  • Travelling will be required
