IT Infrastructure Lead

Infrastructure Lead, Windows, Network, Systems
For a medical device company, we are looking for an IT Infrastructure Lead. That is a role without team, focused on managing IT services and operations. This will be first person hired in IT in Poland and will be responsible for 2 other European locations.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and align IT site services for the European offices to improve local support to offices, improve alignment of services with US services, and improve communications.
  • Develop and maintain the overall plans/roadmap of IT services required for European offices and personnel.
  • Maintain and improve upon 24-hour support solutions including integration of 3rd party support organisations and automated alert/notification mechanisms.
  • Represent European needs in Sprint Planning, Roadmap development, and process improvement.
  • Partner with local business leaders and IT leadership to understand business needs and align on recommended business solutions, including the evolution and improvement of existing IT services.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, provide management with key metrics and ensure successful business value related to any technology deployed to the company
  • Management of key contracts for end user support and products specific to European needs.

Who we are looking for:
  • Experience in providing the IT service desk support in a globally distributed enterprise environment
  • Expertise is troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues with Windows and Mac Laptops, printers and other IT equipment.
  • Strong understanding of Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, RDP, printing, and management of user accounts, distribution lists, and security groups
  • Strong vendor management and negotiating skills
  • Familiar with using Remote Systems management and configuration tools such as Microsoft SCCM to deploy software or connect to remote PCs.
  • Experience with MDM tools such as Intune, JAMF, etc
  • Good knowledge and experience in supporting network switching, routing, and security.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. The ability to effectively deal with ambiguity and assignments that require strategic thinking with minimal direction.
  • Fluent English
