Data Engineer Warsaw Warszawa ETL Python Remote
For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:
Data Engineer

Location: Warsaw
Rate: 120-150 pln/h + VAT
Branch: Financial Tech
Job type: B2B (with Hays Poland)
Length: long-term, first contract for 1 year
Start date: April/May
Remote work: 2 days remote per week
Methodology: Scrum

TECH STACK: Python, SQL, Data modelling, Data Warehousing, ETL, Big Data, IaC tools

Responsibilities
  • Help build strong data models for internal reporting, financial, and regulatory purposes.
  • Focus on optimizing our Data Warehouse, finding ways to reduce complexity and costs.
  • Assist in defining and managing best practices for our Data Warehouse, including source data design, data modeling, implementation, metadata, and testing standards.
  • Set standards and methods for working with data across VXBS, collaborating with others to achieve this.
  • Apply established best practices and standards in other areas of the business.
  • Work with colleagues from different fields to monitor and improve data quality in the warehouse.
  • Help prioritize data governance issues.

What we expect:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as Data engineer or similar
  • Hands-on experience with programming (Python, Java or similar)
  • ETL experience
  • 2-3 days per week at client location
  • Advanced knowledge of English in speech and writing
