Currently - for our Client from the automation industrial sector- we are looking for a Global Pricing Excellence Manager.
Working on this position, you will lead the creation of cohesive pricing strategies for the service offering. Your knowledge, assistance, and oversight will be vital in guaranteeing the effectiveness of these strategies. Additionally, you will evaluate and enhance current methods to ensure they meet our business goals. This position requires working with various stakeholders to ensure thorough pricing that promotes market differentiation and competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute pricing strategies for both new and existing offerings, ensuring they align with business objectives and market trends.
- Develop pricing models that cater to various service lines (products, services, service agreements, projects) and different customer segments.
- Set up and maintain pricing governance frameworks to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Ensure pricing policies and models are scalable and adaptable to market dynamics.
- Track competitors' pricing strategies, market trends, and customer preferences to provide informed recommendations.
- Identify opportunities for upselling by analysing sales trends, pricing developments across markets, channels, and segments, while evaluating product profitability (from low to high margin products and services).
We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, more than 5 years of experience in the service industry, with a focus on developing pricing strategies for services and projects, and a strong understanding of various pricing methodologies. An ideal candidate should be able to create, develop and assess practical solutions for complex topics involving multiple stakeholders. Strong leadership, management capabilities as well as results- driven approach combined with excellent interpersonal skills will also be very important. Pricing Certification (CPP) is advantageous.
