The Human Resources Specialist will be the primary HR contact for all employees, managing daily HR activities. Responsibilities include administration, recruiting, compensation and benefits, development and performance management. The role requires constant interaction with the management team and employees to foster a positive, employee-oriented company culture.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain confidential personnel files.
- Coordinate with the Finance department for new hires.
- Respond to employee requests and concerns.
- Collaborate with hiring managers on recruiting efforts.
- Manage the candidate engagement process from identification to onboarding.
- Track vacation and absenteeism.
- Ensure updated vacation leave information.
- Develop positive employee relations programs.
- Ensure timely performance evaluations.
- Foster an engaged and competent staff.
- Collaborate with all levels of staff to solve and mediate problems.
- Assist with system and control development and implementation.
- Participate in HR projects and other assigned duties.
- Adhere to the Quality Management System (QMS) and relevant regulations.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of HR experience, or equivalent education and experience.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Ability to manage confidential issues.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
- Preferred experience in manufacturing or medical device industry.
Working Conditions:
- General office environment with frequent interaction with others.
- Requires standing, walking, sitting, and using a computer for extended periods.
- Specific vision abilities required.
