Project Manager, Infrastructure, IT Project Manager
For big, international company, we are looking experienced Senior IT Project Manager, who can support multiple projects inside big program (over 100 projects).


  • Location: 100% remote work (you must be located in Poland)
  • Form of cooperation: B2B contract via Hays (long-term cooperation)
  • Rate: 170-230 pln/h net + vat (depends on experience, negotiable)
  • Start date: ASAP (max 30 days’ notice period is acceptable)
  • Working hours:
    This role might require up to 30% work on US timezone (+7h to Poland)


Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as Senior IT Project Manager
  • Experience in management big scale, global infrastructure and software projects
  • Experience in insurance industry
  • Advanced English
  • Experience in driving change management and technology adoption for the project
  • Ability to communicate IT and Infrastructure terminology and technology in plain-English
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to positively influence and challenge sportively and effectively where appropriate
  • Experience of managing cross-functional international delivery teams in multiple time zones
  • An appreciation and understanding of the security and compliance requirements of a large financial organisation
  • Good Excel skills
  • Self - starter who can work autonomously
  • Creative problem-solving skills with forethought of organizational goals and needs
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility and responsiveness to changing business needs and demands
  • Proficient in use of MS Office, specifically Project, Excel and PowerPoint


Responsibilities:
  • Managing medium/large projects throughout the project lifecycle, to time, scope and budget
  • Providing regular and effective status reporting
  • Building and maintaining relationships with global and EMEA stakeholders across IT and Business
  • Using MS Project to plan the work and assign individuals to each activity
  • Ensuring all technical aspects of project are approved by the Architecture Board and service owners
  • Managing third parties ensuring their deliverables are in line with Project timelines
  • Adhering to a formal project methodology, to ensure that each stage in the project delivery is formally governed and all project documentation is developed and maintained to agreed standards
  • Producing of high quality project documentation, including schedules, runbooks (delivery plans), reports, logs, IT support models and user material
  • Identifying countermeasures and recommending and/or taking appropriate action to overcome delays, issues, challenges or cost over-runs.
  • Co-ordinating and/or contributing to the design, development and specification of new/revised processes and systems, documentation, training materials etc., as required.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, suppliers and clients
  • Drafting end user communications for change to the user experience
