For our Client from banking industry we are looking for experienced
Power BI Developer/Consultant.

  • Location: hybrid model from Wroclaw or Cracow
  • Form of cooperation: B2B contract via Hays
  • Rate: 140-165 pln/h net + vat
  • Project: multi-application market risk ecosystem



Requirements:

Must have skills:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience on similar position
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Power BI and Dax queries
  • Data warehousing experience with developing PowerBI Composite modelling with Star schema/Snowflaking
  • Working knowledge of Business Intelligence development (having Microsoft SQL Server BI stack (MS SQL or Oracle) experience is preferable)
  • Experience in cloud platform Azure
  • Fluent in English

Very nice to have skills:
  • Experience with big-data technologies Spark/Databricks and Hadoop/ADLS
  • Familiar with development of life cycle including CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to work with multiple projects and prioritize accordingly
  • Experience of working in source-controlled environments like GitHub, Subversion etc.
  • Familiarity working with agile methodology
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure things out)
  • effective within the complexity, constraints, and boundaries of a leading global organization, operating in a highly regulated industry, running on bespoke software

Responsibilities:
  • Understanding and gathering business needs in the context of data analysis and reporting.
  • Designing and mapping data models that transform data into valuable insights.
  • Developing efficient queries to extract and manipulate data as needed.
  • Building interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Integrating Power BI reports with other applications to enhance business capabilities.
  • Implementing row-level data security to protect sensitive information.
  • Testing formulas and visualizations, optimizing their performance, and ensuring accuracy
