is a clinical research organization that conducts clinical trials to help develop new medicines and therapies. They have study sites across Europe, including one in Wrocław, Poland.

Your new role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior IT Manager to lead and oversee three critical areas within our IT department: Service Delivery, Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS), and Internal IT Projects. This leadership role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, project and team management, and a clear focus on operational excellence, innovation, and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Service Delivery Management:
  • Oversee the Service Delivery function, with direct management of the Service Delivery Manager and their team (including the Service Desk).
  • Ensure high-quality and consistent delivery of IT support services to internal users.
  • Monitor SLAs, KPIs, and user satisfaction to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance IT service processes and performance.

2. CTMS Team Oversight:
  • Lead the team responsible for the Clinical Trial Management System, ensuring system stability, scalability, and alignment with business needs.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Data Management, and other departments to identify and implement CTMS enhancements.
  • Stay current with regulatory requirements and industry trends related to clinical systems.

3. Internal IT Projects:
  • Manage a portfolio of internal IT initiatives, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Define project goals, success criteria, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources and manage project risks and dependencies.
  • Implement best practices in project governance and reporting.

4. People Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals across the three domains.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, support career development, and ensure appropriate resource allocation.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 2years in a managerial role.
  • Proven experience managing IT service delivery, enterprise applications (preferably in life sciences or clinical research), and project portfolios.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL, SDLC, and project management methodologies (Agile, PMP, Prince2, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
