Background
Hays supported one of the global leaders in the pet health sector due to internal structural changes. The client faced an increased workload per person and needed to engage an additional recruiter. Collaboration with the Hays recruiter started in December 2023 and was planned for 3 months. After only a month of satisfying and promising cooperation, it was extended to 6 months and finally prolonged to 12 months.
Project scope include fully remote cooperation with the client, conducting recruitment projects for branches located in the EMEA area, mainly in the UK, Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Poland. Automated work on the client’s ATS, with access to the client’s email box, under the client’s brand, as part of the internal client’s recruitment team.
Challenges
Recruitment standards, procedures, and processes were different and specific to each client’s branch. The internal HR team faced a high workload and long-lasting recruitment projects.
Solution
Gathering information and proactive contact with various departments and employees in the organization: Talent Acquisition Team, Employment Team, HRPB, Hiring Managers, in order to gain a deep understanding of the correct and expected way of action and to ensure the high quality of the tasks performed in line with Clients requirements. Cooperation with the client was fully remote and using the client's ATS. Proposing changes in the current stages of recruitment processes.
RESULT
Maintaining a high quality of work, confirmed by positive feedback from the client. Extension of the contract up to 1 year. Offering a Hays candidate for a demanding vacancy that had been open and managed by the client’s internal team for 6 months and finalized by Hays in 1.5 months.
